Mainland China
Asian business foundation · Brand and application matters
When a client is entering Mainland China or needs help with existing trademark or patent matters, the conversation can begin with the business and current rights. Trademark needs may involve applications, examination follow-up, renewals or changes to recorded ownership details. Patent and design enquiries start with existing applications, available documents and the assistance requested. Partners do not need to choose the professional route for the client. Prepare a brand or product outline, business objectives, application references and known timing requirements. Complete files can follow once the handover method is agreed. Responsible entities, professionals, scope and fees are confirmed before engagement.

Hong Kong
Connected business services · Brand management
For clients operating in Hong Kong, establishing a business or organising regional brand activities, trademark matters can complement their usual business-service needs. We first discuss the proposed brand, actual goods or services, intended owner and existing applications, then clarify application, maintenance or change requirements. Patent and other specialist enquiries begin with the case background and the work that can actually be undertaken. Hong Kong and other markets are addressed individually, rather than hidden inside a vague “global solution”. An initial introduction can include the business outline, brand versions and required work. Necessary documents follow with the client’s permission.

Singapore
Regional Asian business · Brand planning for a new market
When a client uses Singapore as part of a regional business or plans to introduce a brand locally, start with the business activities, brand format and relevant goods or services. We discuss trademark applications and ongoing maintenance. Technology, product or existing patent enquiries are considered separately to identify the appropriate professional support. A partner can explain the client’s overall objective through one contact point, while scope, fees and responsibilities are confirmed for each market. Brand information, target markets, the proposed applicant and an outline of existing rights are enough to begin. You need not make an initial classification or success assessment yourself.

Australia
Brand expansion · Maintaining existing rights
For clients expanding sales or operations into Australia, or maintaining local trademarks, we first clarify the planned brand use, goods or services and current rights. We can then discuss application, renewal or change requirements. New product and technology enquiries may be introduced alongside these, with patent or design support confirmed against the actual material. If a client already has representation, explain the particular part they would like us to handle. An initial introduction should include the brand words or artwork, business activities, existing references and the issue to resolve, so that the next step and quotation can be defined clearly.

New Zealand
Market entry · Clearly separated matters
Where a client’s brand activities involve New Zealand, begin by explaining whether the need is a new application, maintenance of existing rights or a specific communication. We discuss the support required in light of the goods or services, brand versions and intended owner, then explain the information and quotation scope. Work proceeding alongside Australia or other markets still has separately defined filing and execution arrangements; several jurisdictions should not be presented as one unexplained procedure. Product design and technology enquiries can begin with an outline and existing application information before review by the appropriate professionals. Partners can start with one authorised introduction.

United States
International brand expansion · Professional coordination
For a client entering the United States or organising existing trademark matters, start with the brand, actual goods or services, applicant details and any existing applications. The team discusses application or follow-up support for the specific matter, explaining information requirements and responsibilities. A brand name alone is not a basis for promising a successful result. Technology and product design enquiries can also begin with the objective and existing application information. If official correspondence has been received, keep the complete document and identify its receipt date and any known timing requirements. The partner provides an authorised introduction; the agreed practitioners handle professional assessment and execution.
